Agents of Change: Local Perspectives on Federal Design

On March 29, 2012 the National Capital Planning Commission and the ULI Washington teamed up to sponsor Agents of Change, a regional planning directors forum moderated by NCPC's Chief Urban Designer, Christine Saum. Participants included Faroll Hamer of Alexandria Virgina, Rollin Stanley of Montgomery County, and Harriet Tregoning of the District of Columbia. After brief presentations the directors took the stage for a lively discussion about how the federal government interacts with local planning efforts.
