A Capital City Conversation: Canberra
Malcolm Snow, Chief Executive of Canberra’s National Capital Authority (NCA) discusses Canberra’s continuing evolution as a planned capital, how the Griffin Plan has guided the city’s design and development, and highlights several of the NCA’s current initiatives. He is joined by Marcel Acosta, NCPC Executive Director in a dialog on the unique challenges and opportunities of planning in a "purpose built" capital city, including commemoration, image and identity, and balancing local and national interests.
