NCPC Awards Contract to Sasaki

On October 29, 2015, the National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC), on behalf of the Pennsylvania Avenue Initiative Executive Committee, awarded a contract to Sasaki Associates and their sub consultant HR&A Economic Advisors to develop economic and urban design strategies for Pennsylvania Avenue between the White House and the U.S. Capitol. The consultants will work with the Executive Committee throughout 2016 to study economic and physical conditions of the avenue. This work will generate potential urban development scenarios and strategies to help scope an update the 1974 Pennsylvania Avenue Plan.
