Digital Submissions Now Available
Each month, agencies across the National Capital Region submit projects and materials to NCPC for review. Historically, agencies submitted paper or CD copies by mail, courier, or drop-off. However, they can now submit materials digitally. Digital submissions allow us to automate the process, saving time, materials, and money and making it more efficient for both applicants and NCPC staff.
NCPC’s web developer created a new portal that makes it easy and convenient to submit project information and materials. Agencies can now fill out a simple form, upload materials digitally, and submit their projects online, which with a good internet speed could take less than 30 minutes.
While the new portal is expected to handle about 90 percent of all submissions, there are a few cases where it is not recommended to use the portal. These exceptions include when a project has sensitive information, when there are no materials that need to be uploaded, or if an agency submits very rarely. In these cases, we recommend that agencies submit via email or send their project materials on a CD.
With the government's response to the Coronavirus, teleworking and remote working has become even more important. This is the best time for agencies to sign up for an account to digitally submit. Agencies interested in learning more about submitting projects digitally should contact their NCPC project officer, or click the button below.
