Public Meeting: Comprehensive Plan and Submission Guidelines Updates

The public is invited to an online meeting to learn about and comment on revisions to the Comprehensive Plan for the National Capital’s Introduction Chapter and the agency’s Submission Guidelines, which address critical planning issues.

The Comprehensive Plan serves as the blueprint for long-term development in the National Capital Region and informs the agency’s Submission Guidelines for review of plans and projects. The updates will help NCPC better address sustainability, resiliency, and equity in our planning work.

This meeting will be conducted online using Zoom. You will need to RSVP and include your email address. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about how to join the meeting. You may use the Zoom invitation to join online or by phone. To have comments included in the formal written record for consideration, please submit them digitally on the Initiative Page. Public comments will be accepted from December 13, 2023 to March 12, 2024.

An in-person public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 6:00 – 7:30 PM. Both meetings will cover the same material. There will be a video recording available for those unable to attend.
