Public Meeting: National Capital Memorial Advisory Commission

Overview

This meeting will be held at the usual location in the CFA Boardroom, room 311 of the National Building Museum. The Commission will meet to review recently introduced memorial legislation, to provide consultation on authorized memorials, and to be updated on other memorials currently in progress.

(1) Review of H.R. 4564, to redesignate Reservation 302 as Robert Emmet Park.
(2) Review of H.R. 5457, to redesignate Gravelly Point Park as the Nancy Reagan Memorial Park.
(3) Review of H.R. 5684, to authorize modification or augmentation of the Second Division Memorial.
(4) Review of H.R. 5999, to authorize the National Global War on Terrorism Memorial.
(5) Consultation with the Gold Star Mothers National Monument Foundation on design concepts for the Gold Star Mothers Family Memorial.
(6) Updates on memorials in progress.
