Overview

NCPC will host its first Capital City Conversation with representatives from Ottawa’s National Capital Commission. Dr. Mark Kristmanson, CEO and Steve Willis, Executive Director of Capital Planning will share current projects including LeBreton Flats, one of the most beautiful waterfront sites in Ottawa, and the city's last largely undeveloped consolidated urban property; and The Plan for Canada's Capital, the document that will guide the development of Canada’s Capital Region over the next 50 years. They will then join NCPC Executive Director Marcel Acosta to discuss the unique challenges and opportunities of planning in a capital city.
