Overview

NCPC will host a public meeting to present the Comprehensive Plan's draft Foreign Missions and International Organizations Element including updated policies. The Element provides policy goals for the federal government to plan a secure and welcoming environment for the location of diplomatic and international activities in Washington, DC. The updated Element includes current planning initiatives related to a new chancery development area for a foreign missions center, and guidance for locating and siting for chanceries.

In addition, Cheryl Crowell from Cultural Tourism DC will discuss how their organization engages the international diplomatic community to promote Cultural Tourism's public events.
