The National Capital Planning Commission released the draft updates to the Parks & Open Space Element for a public review and comment period that extends through Monday, May 7, 2018. The Parks & Open Space Element establishes policies to protect and enhance the many federal parks and open spaces in the National Capital Region.

If you can't attend on this date, another open house—which will cover the same content—is scheduled for Wednesday, April 11 at 6:00 pm.
