The National Capital Planning Commission released the draft updates to the Parks & Open Space Element for a public review and comment period that extends through Monday, May 7, 2018. The Parks & Open Space Element establishes policies to protect and enhance the many federal parks and open spaces in the National Capital Region.

You're invited to attend this open house to learn more about the update. Attendees will hear a short presentation, and NCPC staff will be on hand to answer questions and discuss the update. Written comments will be accepted at the meeting.

If you can't attend on this date, another open house—which will cover the same content—is scheduled for Thursday, April 12 at 10:30 am.
