 | December Meeting Recap NCPC, the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG), and consultants briefed the Commission on initial findings from the Workplace Scenario Planning Study. Conducted to better understand the impacts of federal telework, the study revealed trends related to recruitment, commuting patterns, and sustainability. The final report, to be released in early 2024, will inform updates to the Comprehensive Plan’s Federal Workplace Element and COG’s planning efforts. | |
Comment on Comprehensive Plan and Submission Guidelines UpdatesAt the December meeting, the Commission authorized the release of draft updates to the Comprehensive Plan’s Introduction Chapter and the agency’s Submission Guidelines. The public is invited to comment on these updates, which address equity, climate change, and workplace issues, through March 12, 2024. |
