The Federal Planning Agency for America's Capital
The District of Columbia proposed to renovate and rehabilitate the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library. On October 6, 2016 the Commission approved the final site and building plans. The library closed on March 4, 2017, with construction starting in summer 2017. The new library will open in 2020.
