Our goal is to engage all interested citizens in the important planning and development issues in the nation's capital.

The following policies are posted for your review. We created and published these policies to comply with federal guidelines and requirements. NCPC will take reasonable steps when appropriate to ensure that Limited English Proficient individuals can meaningfully access NCPC activities and programs without cost to those individuals. We will also provide reasonable accommodations to our employees and applicants for employment to ensure that individuals with disabilities enjoy equal access to all employment opportunities. In addition to that, in accordance with the Architectural Barriers Act (ABA), NCPC will ensure individuals with physical disabilities have reasonable access to its federally leased space. The ABA requires that facilities designed, built, altered or leased with certain federal funds, ensure, whenever possible, that physically handicapped persons will have ready access to, and use of such facilities. The NCPC’s facility is a GSA-leased facility and as such, GSA has, on behalf of the NCPC ensured compliance with the ABA. If you would like to file a complaint regarding challenges to access our facilities, or would like additional guidance on the NCPC’s compliance with the ABA, contact the United States Access Board or the General Services Administration. Alternatively, you may contact the NCPC’s Disability Program Manager for further assistance.
