 | June Meeting Recap NCPC approved preliminary site development plans for the Tidal Basin and West Potomac Park Seawall Rehabilitation, which call for the repair of 6,800 linear feet of the seawall. Commissioners supported the project’s goals while recognizing the importance of balancing historic preservation, natural resources, and visitor needs. They requested time frames for the National Park Service’s development of a comprehensive plan that considers alternatives to rehabilitate the landscape, addresses sea level rise, and protects and enhances the setting. | |
