NCPC Closed

Due to the Federal Government Shutdown

Washington, DC – The National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC) is closed due to the federal government shutdown.

The Thursday, October 9, 2025 Commission meeting will be conducted if the federal government reopens by Friday, October 3, 2025. If the federal government reopens after this date, the meeting will be cancelled, and agenda items will be considered at a later meeting. After the federal government announces it will reopen, NCPC will resume all scheduled Commission meetings and activities. Any meetings or events that are scheduled during the shutdown will be rescheduled to a future date.
