How you can help

Planning for well designed federal public spaces and buildings isn't easy. We need your help. Fortunately, there are several things you can do to assist the Commission and its staff as we embark on this initiative.

On November 1, 2012, we released the draft policies and launched a new online tool to allow you to share your thoughts on the proposed policies in the new urban design element. Browse the policies and share your thoughts now ยป

The Commission will be holding a public event on to collect feedback on the draft policies on November 14, 2012.

Any resident of the National Capital Region is impacted by the design of federal buildings and public spaces, and every American has an interest in the physical character of the nation's capital. By getting more people involved and providing input, we can make sure that the resulting policies are in the interest of both the federal government and the general public.
