Overview:   The Southwest Ecodistrict Task Force invites the public to a meeting on July 26 for the Southwest Ecodistrict Initiative. At this fourth  Public Scoping Meeting NCPC staff will present revitalization and redevelopment scenarios focusing on land use, urban design and the sustainability framework for the overall study area with emphasis on the 10th Street, SW corridor. A subsequent public scoping meeting to review final recommendations for the Southwest Ecodistrict is anticipated in October 2011.

We invite the public to review and comment on the draft recommendations for the Southwest Ecodistrict Initiative and the Maryland Avenue corridor.  Public comments will be accepted through Friday, August 12.
