Overview:  

Do you have ideas about active commuting. bicycling. and/or federal facility location priorities? On August 10 these topics, and many more, will be discussed as part of a public forum on draft revisions proposed for the Comprehensive Plan for the National Capital. The Comprehensive Plan is the principal policy document that guides growth and future development in the National Capital Region. The August event will specifically focus on the recently released draft Federal Transportation and Workplace elements. In addition to attending, the draft policy updates are posted online and will remain available for submission of public comment until September 12, 2011.

The event is free and open to the public. RSVPs are encouraged.
