Overview:   NCPC invites the public to learn about the Comprehensive Plan and its function, and to discuss why it's time to update the Plan’s Federal Elements. The first element up for review is transportation. Attendees representing the federal workforce and the public-at-large will talk about how the federal government might become better integrated into the city/regional transportation network; how the regional commuting patterns are changing and what this will mean to federal employees; and how policies of the "Comp Plan" might better respond to Executive Order 13514: Federal Leadership in Environmental, Energy, and Economic Performance.

The event is free and open to the public, RSVPs are encouraged to CompPlan@ncpc.gov.
