| Description of Project The National Park Service--in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the District of Columbia, and NCPC--proposes construction of an improved temporary closrue system to the Potomac Park (National Mall) levee near the intersection of Constitution Avenue and 17th Stree, NW. Improvements will enable the levee to protect parts of downtown DC, including the monumental core, from the risk of a 100-year flood. |
