Description of Project The EA analyzes rehabilitation of the infrastructure, circulation, accessibility, and historic resources at the Reflecting Pool, Lincoln Memorial East Plaza, and the elm walks. Perimeter security for the east side of the memorial is incorporated in the landscape design.
Input Requested This EA is now closed for public comment.

Commission Action Requested Approval of preliminary and final site and building plans.
Expected Date of NCPC Action Submission by NPS for review at the Commission's April 1, 2010 meeting is anticipated.
Historic Preservation (section 106) Consultation Process NPS has initiated Section 106 review with the D.C. State Historic Preservation Office and with the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation and has invited consulting parties to comment. NPS anticipates completion of the Section 106 process with a Memorandum of Agreement.
