Description of Project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineering has submitted a master plan (Site Development Guide) for the federal facility at 4600 Sangamore Road in Bethesda, Montgomery County, Maryland. The Sangamore Road facility is being vacated by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency; the master plan provides a vision and framework to transform the facility into a secure campus supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency.

The master plan is anticipated to come before NCPC for review in October 2011.
