| Description of Project The Treasury Department is proposing to install a playground on the grounds of the Treasury Building located at 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. The proposed playground would occupy the southwest quadrant of the South Lawn within the Rose Garden and be used by the US Kids and “Small Savers” pre-school programs. The playground is intended to be temporary for a period of three years and seasonal as some of the equipment will be removed during the winter season from December through March. The preliminary and final building plans are anticipated to come before NCPC for review in October 2011. |
