|Historic Preservation (section 106) Consultation Process
The Smithsonian and the DC State Historic Preservation Officer have determined that the proposed new window would have an adverse effect on the character of the museum building and have developed a Memorandum of Agreement for mitigation that calls for the re-establishment of the Calder stabile and reflecting pool to their original location.
