Pentagon Permanent Visitor Screening Facility
(File Number 6659)

The National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC) approved preliminary and final site and building plans submitted by the Washington Headquarter Services for a visitor screening facility at the Pentagon. The design includes changes made as a result of previous Commission comments. The new permanent one-story building would be approximately 5,000 square feet and be located on the Pentagon’s southeast side near the Pentagon Metrorail station. The project is the first of two to improve access at this entrance. An enhanced employee entrance is targeted for 2017.
