(File Number 6553)

The Commission approved final plans for an 844-space parking garage at the Food and Drug Administration's consolidated campus in White Oak, Maryland. Since the Commission's last review, the garage was revised to include aluminum cladding on the north elevation, river birch trees planted along the west facade, and eastern red cedar trees planted along the north facade. In its approval, the Commission reminded the FDA that it must submit a revised transportation management plan that includes an updated employee survey, a commitment to undertake transportation demand management strategies, and updated data on the feasibility and frequency of public bus service to the site.
