Public Testimony on NCPC's Draft Final Recommendations
On Tuesday, November 19, 2013 the National Capital Planning Commission held a Special Commission Meeting to consider NCPC's Draft Final Recommendations and authorize their transmittal to Congress. The Special Commission Meeting was held at NCPC's offices beginning at 2:00 PM.


Speaker Guidelines
  • Arrive early. The meeting will start promptly at 2:00 PM and speakers will provide testimony in the order of signup.
  • When your name is called, please step up to the podium and state your name clearly into the microphone. Your comments will be recorded and videotaped.
  • Indicate if you are speaking as an individual citizen or on behalf of an organization.
  • Typically, private citizens have three minutes to speak. Persons testifying for organizations have five minutes. Time limits are subject to change at the discretion of the Chairman.
  • A buzzer will indicate when your time is up. Please complete your sentence and conclude your remarks promptly.
