Seven Minutes and Change Toward a Better Region

On August 12 a near-capacity crowd of more than 140 people braved a rainy night to hear from area planners and designers as they discussed topics of interest from throughout the National Capital Region. Seven Minutes & Change Toward a Better Region was the latest installment of NCPC’s 2010 speaker series.

The Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, the National Capital Area Chapter of the American Planning Association, and the Potomac Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects co-hosted the event. Attendees enjoyed nine rapid-fire presentations running seven minutes or less, with no jargon, on planning topics of personal or professional interest. A fun, casual networking session followed.
